The International Maritime Organization launched a campaign on June 25 to showcase the important role that seafarers play across our global landscape. Seafarers of all ranks and positions were encouraged to record and share their thoughts and experiences with the public through personalized videos recorded while at sea.

The campaign was a great success, and many of Teekay seafarers participated. For example, Warren Demain, AB onboard the Bermuda Spirit, gave his thoughts on an aspect of seafarers the public "might not know about".
